  1. You know me and how I love to shoot in black and white directly. But if I’m playing around with a RAW file I’ll typically make all my adjustments and then try flipping it to one of my black and white settings to see if there is something more dramatic that the lack of color will bring out. Textures and dramatic lighting usually. If the lighting is a bit flat, I tend to keep it in color as converting doesn’t bring the same impact.
